Selecting your Wedding Song

Wedding Planning

There is a list of songs you and your groom need to select for your wedding.  This list includes the ceremony (previously posted about, click here to read), cocktail hour, dinner, important dances, significant events, and dancing.  One of the easiest, or most difficult, selections is for the first dance as husband and wife.  One option is to dance to your song as a couple if you have one, though I know several couples that have multiple songs.  You can also select a favorite or classic love song that relates to your wedding.  We highly recommend selecting a song representative of you as a couple and that is significant to your wedding day.  You will hear this song every time you watch your wedding video (if you choose to have one recorded) so pick something that is personal to you.

Selecting your Wedding Song

The most popular songs for the first dance include:

Unforgettable by Nat King Cole

Unchained Melody by Righteous Brothers

Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley

The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra

I Cross My Heart by George Strait

What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong

The Power of Love by Celine Dion

At Last by Etta James

It Had to Be You by Harry Connick, Jr.

♥ and many more!

First Dance 2

I would like you to think about you and your relationship with your fiance, what would you select for your first dance that describes you?  Again, I strongly recommend picking a song that is personal to you for that first dance, then when you are selecting your other music selections include some classic love songs.
